According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, about 31% of all traffic fatalities in the United States involve drunk drivers.
The School Resource Officers in the Twin Falls School District are passionate about educating students on the dangers of drunk and distracted driving.
“Flowers would be greatly appreciated but a donation to Jae’s Place in Twin Falls, Idaho would be more so, as it was a place Trinity believed in. She will be missed beyond measure,” said School Resource Officer Martin Becerra, while he was reading the obituary for one of the students taking part in the Every 15 Minutes Program.
At Canyon Ridge High School, the Every 15 Minute Program aims to educate the entire student body on the dangers of driving while intoxicated, impaired, or distracted.
