The Northeast Delta Human Services Authority in Monroe, Louisiana has launched harm reduction vending machines to provide free resources and support to individuals at risk of substance abuse, according to a press release.
The first vending machine will be in the Phoenix Peer Support Center at 722 Adams Street, Monroe, Louisiana. The items available include Narcan, Deterra, fentanyl test strips, rapid HIV tests, pregnancy tests, safe sex kits, needle cleaning kits, hygiene kits, wound care kits and period packs.
